Australia Day Honours List 2022

Liverpool Neighbourhood Connections CEO Patricia Hall has been recognised in the Australia Day honours List with an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for her contribution to the Liverpool Community. It recognises her more than 30 years spent making a difference to people in her community.

"This award means more than anything because it's for the whole of my community. It represents the culmination of about 31 years of work trying to help women," she said.

LNC lead by Pat Hall is committed to not only helping disadvantaged women in the community, but also migrants who often have communication barriers. LNC also runs social enterprises in combination with education to try and assist women to getting independence and employment opportunities to improve not only their lives, but those of their family.

“This award is recognition that through kindness and compassion, the lives of others can be enhanced.”
